Can you believe it’s just about four months until Christmas?
If you are trying to make ends meet, like me, then maybe you should start now with Christmas shopping.
As a musician, I always enjoy anything to do with music. It can be a CD or an accessory to a guitar that may be on my wish list.
Point is, when you have several to buy for, starting early is always a good thing.
In the next few graphs, I'm going to share some ideas for this year’s Christmas wish list.
I'll start with percussion. What kid doesn’t like to beat on things?
They can graduate from putting together a few pots, pans and serving spoons and instead begin playing on a real drum set.
For me, it was the guitar.
There were four of us about the same age on my block, three girls and one boy, my brother. We would pretend we were the Beatles and all of us wanted to play guitar.
My first one was a toy, but there are starter guitars that would be a wonderful gift for any young musician.
My cousin started playing piano when she was six.
Through the years, stories have been told of how my aunt would sit beside her on the bench with a switch to make her practice. Now she plays beautifully and has been a piano instructor.
Many children love pianos and I’ve got the upright my mom and aunt learned to play on. It’s over 100-years-old. It's still in use and whenever I have children in my home, they love to “play” the piano.
There are many choices in selecting an instrument. Below are a few for you. Just click the image for more information on each of them.
The list could go on and on. Check out Amazon.com for all of these and even more, and remember to B# and God Bless!
Thanks for the tip!
Virtual buskers rock! That’s what your tip tells me. ☺
Musician's Helper is a totally free site, but, if you like my work and want to leave a tip, I'll surely put it to good use on things like food, clothes, fuel for my auto, soap to shower with, etc. I think those qualify for seriously good use. ☺
